PROJECT CYCLING ONLY WITH A HELMET ON
From May to September, the annual bicycle project "Cycling only with a helmet on" will be run again. The project, which is organized in cooperation with the charity Securely on the Road and with the Mountain Service of the Czech Republic and with other partners, aims to reduce the accident rate and, in particular, the consequences of bicycle accidents caused by non-observance of safety principles while cycling. The focus of the campaign is primarily on the use of protective safety helmets.
Not only the visitors to the mountain regions of the Czech Republic, but also road cyclists during this year‘s cycling season, will meet patrols drawing attention to the suitability and usefulness of the use of safety features while riding a bicycle.
